PAPW Book Released
Friday, August 01, 2008 at 9:00 AM
Plein Air Painters of the West has released it's new book "A Common Vision"

Plein air painting is an extraordinary thing. We go outdoors, set up an easel, palette, and other tools and then attempt to capture the scene before us on a canvas. Plein air painters appreciate the subtleties of light, values, edges, color and movement that can only be experienced directly by “being there”. They hope to breathe the reality of this direct experience into each painting. The paintings in this book are a combination of plein air and studio paintings created by the members of PAPW. 100 color images.
You may order the book here: A Common Vision
